I am an OCT certified, IB trained English teacher and ESL Specialist with over 10 years of classroom experience. Teaching in a globally connected, digital world continues to ignite my passion to foster critical literacy skills, inquiry methods, and international mindedness in the classroom. I consider myself to be a caring, resourceful, life-long inquirer.

 

Having taught at four independent schools in Canada and the United Kingdom, I am aware of the need to foster a growth mindset amongst local and international students in busy school settings. I enjoy being involved in the wider school community through supervising service learning initiatives, participating in international trips, and leading co-curricular activities.
